Lee Connolly Weill
During the summer of 2015 I decided to follow my heart and break from a traditional framed format to develop a more free-form intuitive approach to my work. During walks along the beach or in the woods I'm steered by instinct, happenstance and imagination. Found and fabricated elements have come together in 3D constructions with a level of playfulness and mutability. Shapes, surfaces and textures toy with perception. Jewel tones are introduced into a natural palette. Digital images are introduced, manipulated and married through a variety of mediums.
